Prosperity preachers

My family and I went to a prosperity church for about 6 weeks. We didn't know it was a prosperity church at first. They didn't demand money, they didn't pass the plate and tell us that we need to plant a crop and we'd receive 100 times back. This wasn't their main focus. It was a place where people were getting healed. One man walked in with a brace around his leg, limping and he went to get prayer before the service began. During the service he took his brace off, held it up high and said he was healed. He started walking around. There was another man who was a body builder. The preacher spoke about his miracle, as he sat there with us. He was lifting some heavy weight with his legs, and he tore his knee. He called this preacher on the phone, they prayed, and he was instantly healed. This all sounds great, right? Keep reading. We were also told more testimonies about the preacher. Once, he was building his fence line with another church member, who was the one telling us this story. The preacher bent down and hundreds of ants got all over his body. He stood up, pointed up and gave thanks to God, and a strong wind came out of nowhere and blew the ants off the preacher. The preacher didn't have one ant bite. He also claimed that he hadn't had a cold or any sickness for over 30 years. He had visitors from all over the United States and some from other countries, looking to be healed.
I was intrigued with all the thousands of CDs he had around the room, which were sermons that were all alphabetized. Thousands, and quite a few per sermon. I went around and collected over 50-75 of these within the 6 weeks we were there. I spent hours every day watching his sermons, testing the spirit, looking for any error. I didn't see any. I referenced my KJV, my NLT, and some other books I have, on everything he said. It was there, all of it, just like he said it. I spent a lot of time praying about it, and every time I used the scriptures they used, I would have dreams.

I decided to take my son up for prayer at the end of service one day. The church had the preacher and his wife in the front, praying for people, and there were two other couples, one to the left and another couple ready to pray for anyone. You see this church believed that anyone could pray the prayer of healing and it would happen, because God's word says so, and God has to be kept to His word. They would pray and say, "Its done." If it wasn't "done" then you had some kind of unprofessed sin that wasn't repented. Anyway, back to the prayer for my son. We took him up to one of the couples, and they spent time giving him a general message about being a good teenager and not to be following his friends. While they were speaking to my son, which took a while, a voice was heard from my right, where no one was standing, nor was anyone anywhere near me. The voice said, "wrong anointing." I knew it was God. Sure enough, I was kind of confused. I wondered if it was just this couple or the church. I knew deep inside that it was the church because the others in the church, that work with the church leadership, is under the same anointing as the head of the church. I decided to put it on the shelf until I understood exactly what was going on there, because I hadn't seen anything wrong. My wife and I, at different times, went up for the preacher and his wife to pray for us, and we never got healed. My wife and I spent a lot of time at home, trying to remember any sin we hadn't confessed and repented of. After a few weeks of doing this every day, I decided something was wrong. I knew I had repented of everything from childhood till today. You see, anytime I do anything wrong, or think anything wrong, I quickly ask The Lord to forgive me. So, everyone around us was being healed, but not any of my family. We tried fitting in. My wife tried volunteering, because they said they needed volunteers, but the preacher's wife ignored her.
I went on a trip out of town for work. While I was there, I ate some bad food and I know I got Listeria. I was shaking, cold one minute and hot the next, was in the bathroom, and started hurting. I thought I was going to die. I started quoting the scriptures, that this church used over and over, for every church sermon. I then heard music in my room. It was their voices singing a song. I then fell asleep for about 2 hours, and when I was awake, I was healed- 100%. I have never been healed like this before. I didn't have any problems at all that morning or afterwards.
I came home and within a week or so, I started getting a bad headache. I thought it was sinuses. I took sinus meds and Tylenol, checked my blood pressure, everything. Nothing seemed to help. After about 3-4 days, It was getting worse. I got a call from a woman of God, Joyce, who said God told her to call me, because I needed help. I hadn't spoken to Joyce in a few years. We prayed, and the Prosperity demon started making my whole-body shake. I won't forget this ever. God told us that the church I was attending "twist" the scriptures. That demon left and the headache went away.
These people all act the same, they move the same, pray the same, and have the same look in their eyes. I've seen it first hand, and without God showing you, you might get caught up in this without knowing it's not of God. I know who these people are with this spirit. They are the ones:

Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

They believe anything wrong with you is because you have sin. You can be perfect, because God said, and therefore, if you aren't healed, it's your fault. They tell God what to do, they don't ask. Asking is begging and God doesn't like a beggar. They remind God of His word and they demand it for themselves. They often say, "God, you said it, it's done." Even though you know it isn't done, you better act like it is, or they'll whip you with the word of God. The gift of healing cannot be taught. Quoting scriptures over and over, "building your faith," which is what this group does, is not of The Spirit, but of the flesh. When you do this, you open a door for the devil to step in and he will. This is what happened to me. The spirit gives gifts according to how he wants to give them. Healing schools......stay away from these.
Also, some of these groups vary according to what they do. Some want all your possessions turned over to them, and they tell you to stop taking all medications, and seeing a doctor isn't of God. Others preach about giving until it hurts and then give some more. Then they use your money for fancy cars, sending their kids to the finest schools, pools, planes, and expensive suits. I'm not saying it's not okay to have some nice things, but we need to be good Stuarts of God's money.

1 Corinthians 12:7-11

A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge. The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing. He gives one person the power to perform miracles, and another the ability to prophesy. He gives someone else the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit. Still another person is given the ability to speak in unknown languages, while another is given the ability to interpret what is being said. It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have.
