Fear and intimidation

Its amazing how many people are afraid to like or even share anything about islam. People post about Christianity all the time, whether it be about independent groups, who claim to be Christian, but do things that can't be backed up by scripture in The New Testament. Tv shows, movies, local news, books, magazines, radio talk shows, colleges, and other media slander Christianity all the time.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, The Alpha and The Omega says for us to not be afraid. Yet, another religion leads by intimidation, lies, terrorism and fear, and their books back up their actions. No matter what anyone says, their scriptures which teach hate are in their books. Maybe they don't believe what is in their holy books. I don't know what they believe or what they follow, but the words, the sentences, the ideas, are in their books.

JESUS, whom I try to follow, never ever taught us to make others afraid, He never taught us to lie, steal, cheat, bully, threaten, intimidate or to hate. I know other groups say the same thing, and it brings confusion, or makes some lack the need to care; therefore, Christianity is considered to be like the rest.

Here is the difference, The New Testament backs the facts that Christians are NOT suppose to lie, steal, cheat, gossip, slander, hate, condemn, covet, commit adultery, commit murder, intimidate, blaspheme The Holy Spirit, or get revenge. Some Christians do one or more of these things, but they don't have the backing of New Testament scripture, which means our God does not condone any of these things. This can easily be proven in The New Testament and there aren't any scriptures that contradict Jesus's teachings.

Leading by fear is a tactic of the devil. Intimidation is not of God. The bible clearly teaches us to not fear. Do not be led by the devil, for he leads by fear. We see it all over this world right now. The only ONE we should fear is God. He has the power to put us in Heaven or Hell. Fearing God is not the same as all other fear. A criminal fears seeing the judge, because he/she knows that judgement is coming, that their actions are about to bring down the hammer.

The bible clearly teaches against lying. Why would lying ever be a good excuse to further a cause? God is not a God of confusion. He never changes.

  • 1 Corinthians 14:33
33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
  • Hebrews 13:8
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
  • 2 Timothy 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

  • Isaiah 41:10 - Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
  • Psalms 23:4- (A Psalm of David.) Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

  • 1 John 4:18 - There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

  • Psalms 34:4 - I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

  • Proverbs 29:25 - The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

I don't condone, tolerate, accept, like, or go along with anyone or any group that hurts or wants to hurt anyone or any group, any race, any religion. Why would anyone go along with hate? Standing for the truth, speaking out the truth is not hate, it's being a watchmen on the wall, its sounding the horn. When people are warned before any disaster, it saves lives.
