When will someone stand up for the truth?
A lot people say that they are Christians. Have we all forgotten what it means to be a Christian? Have we forgotten that it is a Privlage to be a Christian? Have we forgotten what a Christian's goals should be, which is to be Christ like? When did people start using the phrase, "no one is perfect," to justify their sins? That statement is true, no one is perfect. We all know that, but is that a good defense? Why has it become so hard for people to say they are sorry, and to forget the wrong that was done? Everyone has fallen short of being Christ like, but in today's society people live and do things, which conflict with what they believe. Why must we agree or compromise our beliefs? Do people agree to things because it's the lesser of two evils? Do we agree because we could lose something, if we play hard ball? Standing up for what is right isn't easy sometimes. I have lost family because of it, but sometimes I find conflict within myself- The internal good verses evil thing. We all have this struggle from time to time. Which one do you let win?
All things are not as they seem.
Look at a person, anyone. I bet you see things about them, which will lead you to have an opinion of that person. Others do this to you too. Are they right in what they think? Can someone look at you and judge you, because of your hair style, your clothes, tatooes, or lack of something? Can someone judge you because of your birth place, or where you live? People judge all these things. Can someone judge you and be correct without knowing you? Then, why do people do this? I guarantee you don't know what someone is thinking, or where they've been, or what they've done, or where they will spend eternity. Their have been Christians who've turned from God. Maybe they were the best Christians you knew at one time, but not now. You never know what someone will do, or won't do. You never know what tomorrow brings. Treat others as you want to be treated. Give to others the things you want, or would want if you were in their situation. Give your time to hear someone. Give your time to do things without expecting ANYTHING in return. Sometimes people don't expect kindness from others; therefore, you might not get a thank you from them. Don't get upset because of this. Smile and move on. When you go through a toll booth, store, or any place where a person is sitting there, trying to do a job, be nice, smile and say hello.
If you see a wrong, right that wrong as soon as you can.
Matthew 7:12 (New Living Translation)
The Golden Rule
Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.
