One world?

G20 Summit     2009

  • Bible says that we will one day, we will have a way to pay for things electronically, and all countries will have the same system of "payment"

Revelations 13:16-18

16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six

  • Bible says that one day we will be under a World Government

Read below and see if this can happen.

  • The French President:

“This is an historic and unique opportunity to build a new world and this opportunity we do not want to see pass by."

  • RUSSIAN PRESIDENT DMITRY MEDVEDEV

"We should think about creating a new currency system...The current system is not ideal," he said. "We cannot develop in the next 10 years if we do not create a new infrastructure including new (currency) systems."

  • GERMAN CHANCELLOR ANGELA MERKEL

"It is clear that decisions on the new financial architecture must be made."

  • TURKISH PRIME MINISTER TAYYIP ERDOGAN

"Joint action is required to struggle with the global economic crisis. No country can manage the crisis alone," Erdogan told a news conference in Ankara.

"No concessions should be made on the free market economy and countries should not move toward protectionism. Protectionist measures would make things worse"

Protectionism is the economic policy of restraining trade between nations, through methods such as tariffs on imported goods, restrictive quotas, and a variety of other restrictive government regulations designed to discourage imports, and prevent foreign take-over of local markets and companies. This policy is closely aligned with anti-globalization, and contrasts with free trade, where government barriers to trade are kept to a minimum. The term is mostly used in the context of economics, where protectionism refers to policies or doctrines which "protect" businesses and workers within a country by restricting or regulating trade with foreign nations.

  • INDONESIAN PRESIDENT SUSILO BAMBANG YUDHOYONO

"There must be a global expenditure fund to provide these (emerging) countries with financial buffers...There has been progress and I hope there will be an announcement at this meeting."

Some things that were said at the G20:

China and Russia are both saying it is now time to consider shifting away from a dollar-dominated world.

Beijing and Russia have already opened the debate about a more fundamental shift in the global economic order.

Moscow has called outright for the G20 to start looking for alternatives to the dollar as the world's main reserve currency, and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev renewed that call over the weekend.

"It is quite obvious that the existing currency system has not coped with the existing challenges," he told the BBC in an interview, relayed by the Kremlin website. www.kremlin.ru

Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz, who headed the panel, believes such a replacement currency system could feasibly start to be phased in within as little as 12 months, even if he acknowledged that was unlikely.
