Who do you think you are? Are you a Christian, are you God's son or daughter? Most Christians think they are saved, and hopefully they are. I'm not doubting anyones salvation. I am doubting the way most Christians think. Christians are happy with being saved, but that's where most Christians stop. Let me explain. I say that we have lost the will or faith, that we must possess for the things to come. I say that most of us aren't seeking God's gifts as we should. I say that it's all about me. Most of us, Christians, are only concerned about being saved ourselves, and saving those which we love. We might give our testimony to someone we don't know when the chance arrises, but are we doing what God has told us to do? Do we have the knowledge to do the things God said to do? Can we grasp the idea of Faith, and what it really means? I'm not saying I'm any different than you. I try to think outside the box, and within the bible. The first time I really thought about this, I wondered why there aren't as many miracle healings as there use to be. Healing evangelists use to take the headlines in newspapers, and they were as popular as movie stars. I know of a few who say that God works through them, and maybe he does. I haven't seen any healings of great magnitude personally. I know that God works today as he did in the past. I know that he will continue to work miracles in the future. The bible says:
Why don't we as Christians see more of these miracles? God says he will do as you ask. Are you not asking? I'm sure most of us are, but we don't see the results most of the time. Why is this? Lets go back to Faith again. When you were a child and you were taught to pray,how many of you prayed for toys or a dog, etc? When you didn't get what you prayed for, then your faith started to decrease. Time goes by and when you prayed, you didn't expect God to answer. You prayed to God and you had hope, but not much faith. This builds up in your brain until finally you reach adulthood. You are the same little boy or girl as you were. You learned not to expect God to answer you. Your faith is still in an infancy stage. First, you got to look at the reasons your prayer wasn't answered. Maybe most of your prayers to Jesus weren't Godly. Asking for toys and the things your heart desired were of this world. Now, you have to reprogram your mind. The Bible says:
Well, I know God isn't a liar. I can't find any place in the bible that proves that God lies. God is not a Liar, and he Never will be. He is Perfect, Righteous and Holy. We must reprogram our minds. We must not just believe that God will answer your prayers, we must not just believe that God exists, we must not just believe that God has won the victory, and has the keys to Heaven and Hell. We MUST KNOW it! We DO know it! The spirit of God, which dwells in the saved, is the same spirit of God that Jesus had with him. That is how we know. The Holy Spirit and your spirit communicate, and thats how you know. We must NEVER doubt anything God has promised. We are sons and daughters of the mighty GOD. We are heirs of God. We must walk with our heads up, because we KNOW that Jesus won the victory, and satan is already defeated. We must deal with the bad sportsmen like conduct that satan has. Every time satan attacks, you need to hear a whistle blow. Then you need to say, "Jesus has won the coin toss, and the devil will receive." The devil will receive, because you need to put him on the defensive. You are a child of God, you are the one who needs to attack satan. God has given us discernment, so see satan attack, take the upper hand and attack back with the armor of God. Praise God! I can hear the song "victory in jesus" playing in Heaven right now. I can also hear the song "Tis so Sweet to Trust in Jesus." We have been given the power of God. Use the power of God as Jesus intended. Rise up against evil. KNOW that you are NOT just some weak Christian. Speak up because your voice matters. You a child of the Most High God! Start acting like you are a Son/daughter of God. God is triune, and so are you. You are soul, spirit, and flesh. When God said that he made you in his image, again- he wasn't lying. This is who you are! You are a mighty son/daughter of God! So, whatever the bible says is true. Don't believe otherwise. Praise you Lord! Mighty is our God! Holy, Holy, Holy is the lamb of God, Righteous, Perfect and Holy- forever!
